Its name Toro (bull) was given because when it was rafted for the first time; people realized that rafting on it was like riding a bull, due to the many stones that made the balsa jump.
The Toro River offers some of Costa Rica’s best whitewater rapids with big waves. This trip is full of nonstop class III and IV rapids that will challenge your skills.
