Description:
For the Pacuare river rafting tour we depart San José in the early morning. On a 2-hour drive through the impressive Braulio Carrillo National Park, we arrive at our departure point for a hearty breakfast. Once at the Pacuare river, your friendly and professional rafting guides load your gear into dry bags, prepare the equipment, and give you complete safety and paddle instruction. Class III-IV rapids welcome you to the Pacuare gorge´s charm, as you raft deep in the heart of primary rainforest.
Along the way, our guides will serve a very satisfying lunch of deli meats and cheeses, sandwich fixings, fruit and juice, all along the riverbank. During lunch break, you’ll have time to stop and admire the raw power of the pounding Pacuare river rafting and the serene jungle scenery.
Rafters should be physically fit for this wet and wild trip; however, no previous white-water rafting experience is necessary.
