In 1990, the former President and first lady of Costa Rica, Rodrigo and Estrella Carazo, began to create a unique hospitality concept on their 3000-acre dairy farm. Conceived as an extension of their world vision for development in peace and harmony, Villablanca Cloud Forest Hotel is located on a gentle hilltop overlooking a Cloud Forest reserve.

Recently, Villablanca Cloud Forest Hotel became the first acquisition of Green Hotels of Costa Rica, a management concept in sustainable tourism developed by the experienced management team of Si Como No Resort & Spa.
