TAM Travel enhances your vacation in Costa Rica with the Sky Trek adventure in Monteverde.
The tour starts with the SKY TRAM with a slow pace 20-minute/800 mt. ride up to one of the area’s highest mountains in Monteverde. There will be different stops to observe the forest until reaching an observation deck to observe the surrounding mountains and rainforest.
At the end of the SKY TRAM, we are ready for the SKY TREK adventure. A secure canopy tour system of suspended platforms and zip lines that allow you to slide between the platforms using special equipment. Though similar to other canopy tours in Costa Rica, Sky Trek is larger, and incorporates many significant elements such as metal platforms covered with mesh and steel rails.
The SKY TREK tour includes a path 2.3 km long, 9 transversal cables ranging from 70 to 770 mt lengths running from mountain to mountain zigzagging back to the base, with heights from 20 to 160 mt, and two observation towers or decks for a panoramic view of the Guanacaste, San Carlos and Puntarenas lowlands.
