Searching for dolphins |
 |

Destination:
Caribbean

|
Description:
The adventure begins as we navigate along the pristine rocky seashore, with impressive cliffs and erosion blowholes, covered by the evergreen tropical rain forest.
Later, we arrive at Punta Mona, the southern-most point of Costa Rica, on the Caribbean Sea. From here, the Captain continues, slowly searching for the dolphins. However, the trip is worthwhile just for the magnificent scenery.
Most of the time you will see schools of bottle-nose dolphins, which can be very playful splashing the water with their fins, jumping and diving. Also, you can see the Atlantic spotted dolphins, and even the rare tucuxi that was recently identified close to the Sixaola River, Costa Ricas border with Panama.
