  Manuel Antonio National Park

 Destination:
  Central Pacific

Description:

Today, we venture out to explore the exuberance of Manuel Antonio National Park. An easy, 2 1/2-hour, walking tour is the only way to truly experience the Park. Discover the squirrel monkeys, 3-toed sloths, engage in recreation with the funny white-faced monkeys, admire the birds, and learn about the amazing wildlife.

Sit, undisturbed, on the Parks awesome and unspoiled beach. That is, except for the occasional visit of curious iguanas.

The main habitats in the park are primary forest, secondary forest, mangrove swamp, lagoons and beach vegetation.  Common birds are brown pelican, white ibis, fiery-billed aracari, green kingfisher and northern jacana.  Marine life is very diverse, too.
