Description:
We awake to a hearty breakfast, which prepares us to ascend to the summit of the Irazú Volcano.
A marvellous countryside with potato plantations, dairy farms, and a complete change of scenery as we approach the volcano. On a clear day, you can actually see both the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean.
Coming back to San José, we pay a visit to the Basilica of our Virgen de Los Angeles in the city of Cartago.
