Description:


Our destination today, the Colonial City of Granada, Nicaragua.  The oldest in Central America, founded by the Spanish conqueror Francisco Hernández de Córdoba in 1524.
Colonial buildings and churches in the Baroque style alternate with those in the Renaissance style of the 16th century.
From the city of Granada, we move to Lake Nicaragua for a boat ride to the Isletas. 
Lunch at a colonial restaurant, Granada city tour, and shopping at Masaya will make your trip an unforgettable one.
After an enriching cultural experience, we return to Costa Rica late afternoon.
