Description:
The original house was built in 1910 by a wealthy Spanish emigrant coffee baron, Cipriano Herrero del Peral. The house was constructed using imported materials from Europe, and under the direction of the architect Jaime Carranza, one of the best-known and prestigious architects around the turn of the century. In 1992, the idea rose to transform the house into a unique hotel, with beautiful wallpapaer, fine rugs, ceiling fans and mosaique tile floors and English style furniture contrast sharply with the tropical floer gardens.
