Description:
Arenal Lake is the largest man made lake in Costa Rica and, since 1974, the most important hydroelectric energy source of the country.
A 2-hour boat ride through the shimmering waters of the lake allow for striking vistas of the Arenal Volcano. The surroundings are home for a variety of different residents, including migratory birds and mammals.
