This service, half tour – half transfer is a scenic, fast and the newest way to go or come from La Fortuna (Arenal Volcano Area) to the Monteverde area. Around 7:30 a.m, we start picking everybody up at the hotels in La Fortuna for a 30-minute drive aboard a microbus to the Arenal Lake, where we will board a very comfortable and safe pontoon boat for a 30 to 40 minutes ride onto Río Chiquito, a little town at the other side of the lake. Once in Río Chiquito, we will leave the boat and take a short break to stretch the legs before another 1 ½-hour microbus ride to get to the hotels in the Monteverde area.
Tour includes: Transportation and bilingual guide (English/Spanish).
What to bring: Comfortable clothes, insect repellent, suntan lotion, and camera.
